HANGING MECHANICS

zbar/cleet mechanics are the preferred method of hanging as it is more secure and artwork will remain level and hang flush with the wall surface.

SPACER

The print should not be directly in contact with the glass as condensation, dirt, dust, and tiny particles can be trapped and damage to the work of art. We recommend a 1/4:” depth. Spacer should be made of Sintra or Conservation museum board or comparable material.

GLAZING

First Choice:
Luxar® Anti-reflective Laminated Glass: LUXAR® Magnetron Sputtered anti-reflective glass with almost no reflectance, is an innovative product of Glass Trösch. With a reflection of less than 0.5 %, mirror-like effects will be prohibited and therefore LUXAR® is almost invisible.

Second Choice:
Tru Vue Optium® Acrylic is a lightweight, anti-reflective, clear-coated acrylic that provides greater security than traditional glazing. Optium Acrylic is also an anti-static product, making it easier to clean than other acrylics. It is ideal for framing all art mediums including pastels and charcoals and is a perfect display and shadow box choice.

Third Choice:
Tru Vue Museum Security™ Glass Tru Vue® Museum Security™ glass is a low iron, anti-reflective coated, two-lite laminated glass product engineered specifically for glazing works of fine art. The unique properties of Museum Security™ glass enhance, preserve, and protect artwork on display as well as provide a secure environment. Tru Vue® Museum Security™ glass is sold only as a laminated product.

SIGNATURE LABEL
